- Was on vacation with her husband (a Jewish man) in Austria and Germany in 1936 and by chance happened to arrive in Berlin on the same day as the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games was being held, so they went to the arena to watch the sports celebration this sunny day - with Hitler. Finishing the trip, they went back to Sweden; not having a concept of grasping what that man later would be capable of.
