Nephew Rajeev debuted in the film Nai Umar Ki Nai Fasal. Rajeev is the son of brother R. Chandra (Ramesh).

Daughter Aparajita is also a actress. She worked mostly in films during the 1990's. She is best known for her role in the TV serial Ramayan. She essayed the role of Raavan's wife. She is now based in Kondva Pune. She has disconnected from the film industry and lives her life in spirituality.

Daughter Anuradha has passed away.

Niece is actress Parijat (Kaun Kare Kurbani). She is Bharat's brother's daughter. She suffered from polio.

Granddaughter Baby Bulbul acted in the movie Pyar Ke Kabil. She is the daughter of Sheelu (possiblly Aparajita) and Arjun Jagtiani. Arjun took his own life by taking pills in 1986. Stardust Magazine April.1986,had a article about the story. Daughter Sheelu also took the pills but survived.
