Was discovered by Bob Hope, who invited her to perform onstage with him during the Mississippi Arts Festival in the late 1960s.

Jeanne Avery is the mother of David Henesy, who played David Collins on the TV series Dark Shadows (1966-1971), as well as in the 1970 MGM feature "House of Dark Shadows". She is also a Regression Therapist and has written four books on astrology and two on past life regression.
