The actress Anneliese Würtz began her career at the theater Osnabrück, later followed stages in Leipzig, Dresden and finally Berlin where she appeared at the Schillertheater among others.

Anneliese Würtz appeared in movies again after the war, her engagements remained fixed to support roles.

Besides her activity as an actress she also spoke roles in radio plays and dubbed foreign movies, among others for the Disney productions "Sleeping Beauty", Alice in Wonderland" and "Cinderella".

She continued her film career successfully in the 40s, among others with "Die goldene Spinne" (1943), the film classic "Die Feuerzangenbowle" (1944) and "Der Mann im Sattel" (1945).

Her cinematical work diminished from the 60s, still she remained active to her profession till to the old age.
