Ann-Charlotte Tarp

Biological father was a German soldier in German occupied Denmark. She wrote a book about it: "Det sku' nødig hedde sig."

In the summer of 1965, the photographer Werner Bokelberg brought her to Salvador Dalí's estate in Port Lligat for a photo series, after which Dalí worshiped her as his muse "Ginesta Ophelia".

Stepdaughter of danish composer Svend Erik Tarp.

In 1972 she received a "Bodil" (=Bodil Awards are the major Danish film awards given by the Danish Film Critics Association) for best actress in 'Farlige kys'.

In her later years, Lotte Tarp concentrated more on writing books, plays and screenplays, including writing the play Amagertorv 4 in the 1980s. From 1990 to 1992 she trained as a screenwriter at the Danish Film School. Her final thesis was the script for the television film Længe leve friheden (1993).
