A German actress, she's known to American audiences (and fans of legendary director Stanley Kubrick in particular) as the beautiful farm girl who takes in Ryan O'Neal in Barry Lyndon.

Her first husband Hubert Hahne was a racing driver for BMW better known for his successes in European racing. He retired from racing in 1970, the same year as their marriage and was a BMW agent in Dusseldorf.

To celebrate their marriage, his employer introduced a limited edition 2002 ti that was differed from the regular model with changes including twin headlights (from the 2800 CS) a leather interior and Italian aluminium wheels. Each of the twelve custom models built was different to each other by their colour and various other options. As of 2017, four of those are known to exist in varying conditions.

Mother of Lara-Joy Körner (born in 1978) from her relationship to stockbroker Michael Büchter and Jenny-Joy Kreindl (born in 1982) from her marriage to Werner Kreindl.
