Peter's 1991 blockbuster "Point Break" has been made into a successful stage production aptly called "Point Break Live!", which has had great reception in Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

He passed on an offer to rewrite the screenplay for Alerta máxima (1992) back when it was in development.

Worked as a runner for the ABC series That's Incredible! (1980).

He has worked as a script doctor on several films including Miedo (1996), Mimic (1997), Fantasmas (1998), and Texas rangers: los justicieros (2001), Poker Face (2022), among other films.

In May 1997, Variety Magazine reported that Iliff had written a screenplay titled "New York Dive" for Fox 2000, with Rob Cohen slated as director, and Adam Fields as producer.
