Escaped Devotion

I couldn't wait to see this movie, I had been stalking social media to see it. I will tell you before hand, be careful not to throw the remote at the TV. I nearly did. I was so full of emotions while I was watching this movie. Thriller it is. I felt like the lead character Darnell did an awesome job. I felt sorry for Ebony for the entire movie. I can't say too much or it will give the movie away, however I felt that the storyline was powerful, it gives awareness to important topics that needs to be addressed in today's society. Watch it! You will be at the edge of your seat the entire time, because I surely was. All of the actors gave their "A" game. Bottom line this movie had me in a chokehold!!! 10/10.

This was an edge of your seat movie. I screamed at my TV several times. Every scene was a boom. I screamed cried and yelled. I wanted to hug Ebony the whole entire movie. Some men don't deserve good women. This movie was different from anything I've seen. It was intense from beginning to end. The music gave jump scares. I believe that this might just be one of the best thrillers of 2024. The director didn't hold back on the dramatics of the film. It will definitely have you second guess getting into a relationship. I'm eager to see what this director has coming next. She definitely reeled me in. The actors did a great job with this film! Great job everyone!

Yo, this movie was crazy....homeboy was trippin. I ain't gon lie I felt bad for his wife. My moms was like son you Betta not never do something like that to any woman. It was definitely a thriller pure suspense and action throughout the movie. I wish it could have been longer though. The money scene had me at the edge of my seat cause I thought the movie was over after that. I will say that this thriller is something different. I would give it a watch it's worth it. It had a little twist that you wasn't expecting. I will give it a "8" the writer did a good job on this one it's something different....

This movie was needed especially for women who are stuck in situations like this. I hope a lot of people see this movie. It should be on BET. I can't believe he had the audacity to move another women in the house and she started abusing Ebony too. I felt so bad for her when he got upset because she didn't have pepper to put inside the eggs. This woman went through one of the worse cases of mental and physical abuse. We need more movies like this to help women escape abusive relationships like this. No woman should have to suffer with this type of abuse. For all the Ebony's out there I hope you get outttttt!!!
