Tristesse

"Tristesse" (2020) undoubtedly a great film by director Emilio Ruiz Barrachina, captures very well the essence of another great film "Fellini 8½" (1963) Federico Fellini, a director who little by little is entering a deep creative crisis and finds no new ideas, and the most important thing how the camera captures the essence of Oviedo (Asturias) those images of the historic center of the city without anybody else, only with the illumination of the streetlights, we must remember that the movie was filmed during the pandemic, and the actors a real past, a mixture of drama and comedy. A film that was awarded in New York at the film festival.
