Exclusive: Amazon MGM Studios’ The Devil’s Mouth has added The Summer I Turned Pretty star Gavin Casalegno, Nico Hiraga, Tommi Rose, and Tayme Thapthimthong to the Jeff Wadlow directed genre movie. The roots of NBC’s Happy’s Place are planted in the past — roughly six years in the past, which is when Reba McEntire and Reba showrunner Kevin Abbott wanted to revive the WB classic. But not unlike Noah Wyle, who wanted to bring back ER before starring in The Pitt, McEntire & Co. were forced to pivot.

On Tuesday (August 12), the 17-year-old posted a video to her YouTube channel where she reflected on injuries she’s sustained over the years.

For the first time, she addressed the 2017 accident that occurred when she was just 8 years old.

“I did have an accident though. I was in a coma, and I came back to life, and I’m very blessed,” Maddie said.

Netflix just revealed it racked up another 4.7 million views during its third week on Netflix, bringing the total to nearly 16 million views. And that's just in the US. If this were a global release, we'd be talking about an instant season 2 renewal for The Hunting Wives.

There's some good news to share with Ransom Canyon fans, but there's also a bit of frustrating news that goes hand in hand. Following the successful release of the Western romantic drama series back in April, Netflix officially renewed season 2 in June. Thankfully, we now know when production will likely begin on the upcoming new season, and it's sooner than you think!

According to Deadline's initial report about the Ransom Canyon season 2 renewal, filming will begin again in Albuquerque, New Mexico in September 2025. What's on Netflix suggests cameras begin rolling on Sept. 17 and will wrap production in early 2026, which could be anywhere from January to sometime in February at the latest. Netflix has cracked the code for comfort shows and sitting right up among the streamer's best is Sweet Magnolias, a romantic comedy series that centers around the lives of three best friends: Maddie Townsend (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Dana Sue Sullivan (Brooke Elliott), and Helen Decatur (Heather Headley) bonded since childhood. Based on a novel series of the same name by Sherryl Woods, the show follows the trio of women as they navigate their careers, romantic relationships, and sisterhood. Season 4 recently premiered on the streamer and ended in a cliffhanger for Maddie. Thankfully, viewers will get to see how her new chapter plays out as the show thereafter scored a Season 5 renewal. And now, the first teaser photo from the new season has arrived with some answers.

Netflix has announced that the hit modern western drama Ransom Canyon has been renewed for a second season. The first season spent four weeks in Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV (English) list and reached the Top 10 TV list in 77 countries.

“I couldn’t be happier that Netflix is ready to get back in the saddle for Ransom Canyon! Our dreamy little corner of Texas Hill Country is full of stories still untold, and we can’t wait to bring them to our incredible fans. Get ready for another ride,” said creator, showrunner, and executive producer April Blair.

Netflix describes Ransom Canyon as “comfort entertainment,” noting that it has a growing audience that prefers easy-to-watch stories. The streaming service is home to a slate of “blue skies” shows, movies, and games.

Netflix has given a Season 2 pickup to Ransom Canyon, its freshman romantic Western drama starring Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly.

The news comes more than two months after the 10-episode first season of the series, an adaptation of Jodi Thomas’ books, was released. At the time, a Season 2 writers room, led by executive producer/showrunner April Blair, already was up and running. Filming on the new season is eyeing a September start, I hear. Set in Texas Hill Country, Ransom Canyon films in New Mexico, with production set to return to Netflix Studios Albuquerque, where Season 1 was based.

Trouble brews once again in Shadyside in the trailer for “Fear Street: Prom Queen,” Netflix’s newest addition to the “Fear Street” franchise.

The film is adapted from author R.L. Stine’s 1992 novel “The Prom Queen.” Netflix previously released a trilogy of “Fear Street” films, directed by Leigh Janiak, in 2021: “Fear Street Part One: 1994,” “Fear Street Part Two: 1978” and “Fear Street Part Three: 1666.”

In “Fear Street: Prom Queen,” an ’80s dance turns bloody. According to the official logline, “prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. But when a gutsy outsider puts herself in the running, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of ’88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night.”
