Sync

Imagine a future where some data is too sensitive to transfer online due to hackers. The only option is to store the data in a physical device, like a portable hard drive, and physically transfer it-but that's risky too. To solve this, specially designed robotic couriers called Syncs are used. These robots are capable of self-defense and won't stop until the package is delivered to the recipient. Now, imagine someone changes the data storage into something deadly and sends the robot on its mission. That's what Sync is all about.

The visuals in Sync are impressive, and the basic plot is interesting. There's real potential here for an engaging sci-fi movie. However, this six-minute short film felt more like a trailer or a proof of concept rather than a full story. It ends abruptly, without anything significant happening, and there's no real conclusion. It almost feels like all the best parts are just around the corner. The story ends the way some movies begin, making it feel like it's begging for a sequel. I assume that was the original idea.
