Raven Banner Entertainment has revealed the poster for Love Is the Monster designed by Creepy Duck Design, via Deadline.

Inspired by Finnish mythology, the folk horror film follows troubled couples to Finland for a transformative retreat, where they fall prey to a sinister cult seeking to resurrect an ancient goddess of love.

Exclusive: Raven Banner Entertainment is kicking off global sales for Alex Noyer’s horror movie Love Is The Monster starring Madeline Zima (Californication) and Leonardo Nam (Westworld) at the Marché Du Film and its Fantastic Pavilion, during Cannes.

Die Alone is the most recent film from Saskatchewan-based filmmaker Lowell Dean. If you’ve heard of him, it’s probably because of the over-the-top genre comedies WolfCop and Another WolfCop. But he’s done several other films, including the zombie film 13 Eerie and the post-apocalyptic action film SuperGrid, which I was lucky enough to catch along with a Q&a session with him at the Saskatoon Fantastic Film Festival a few years back.

Both zombies and a post-apocalyptic setting return in Die Alone, but it’s not a typical tale of the zombie apocalypse, although that isn’t easy to tell from the opening scenes. Ethan and his girlfriend Emma were heading to his cabin when their car crashed. Ethan wakes up to find Emma and most of his memories, are missing.

Horror fans will soon be able to stream an overlooked and underrated movie starring Frank Grillo (Creature Commandos) and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix). The 2024 sci-fi horror thriller Die Alone is coming to Tubi later this month.

Beginning Jan. 15, Die Alone will be available to stream on Tubi. The movie tells the story of Ethan (Douglas Smith), a young man with amnesia who joins forces with a hardened survivalist (Moss) during a zombie-like outbreak, as they set out on a dangerous journey to find his missing girlfriend, played by Kimberly-Sue Murray. Although Grillo was heavily featured in the marketing for Die Alone, he only makes a brief supporting appearance in the movie during a flashback scene.

Carrie-Anne Moss is a woman with a dark past fighting for survival in a post-apocalyptic world in Die Alone. After holding supporting roles in a variety of TV shows, Moss became a household name with her role as Trinity in The Matrix franchise, following it up with major parts in everything from Christopher Nolan's breakout hit Memento to the zombie comedy Fido and Shia Labeouf-led thriller Disturbia. More recently, Moss has found success with Netflix's Marvel Cinematic Universe shows, primarily Jessica Jones, Tell Me a Story season 2, Disney+'s The Acolyte and The Matrix Resurrections.

The timeless Carrie-Anne Moss leads one of this weekend's new releases, Die Alone, an apocalyptic thriller centered around an epidemic that runs rampant and turns humans into cannibalistic monsters. If it sounds familiar, sure, there have been numerous zombie horror films over the decades, but Die Alone offers some unique plot beats such as Moss portraying someone who takes a spiraling amnesiac under her wing amid trying times. Trader is a fascinating, minimalistic film that brings the audience into a world of chance, rigged games, and the ever present drive to come out on top. It is a surprisingly tense film that hooks its audience via the inherent mystery of its main character, and leads us on a wild journey where though we have absolutely no idea what’s coming, we’re pretty certain that it will end in a trainwreck for someone.

We learn very little about Kimberly-Sue Murray’s character during Trader. She likes telling herself that she is a free woman, thinking of herself as more than just a number. Every now and again she looks at the barcode tattooed on her arm. In different conversations, she implies different things about its origins. She tells one man that she used to be a sex worker. Perhaps it’s true, but we have no more reason to believe it than anything else she says. It is notable, however, that trading has something in common with sex work – the people who are good at them have a talent for telling people what they want to hear.

Supernatural Thriller ‘Nefarious’ DVD Arrives Aug 15th After Successful Theatrical Release: "Supernatural thriller Nefarious was released in theaters on April 14 through Soli Deo Gloria Releasing, and it ultimately grossed over $5 million at the domestic box office. Nefarious will now be released on DVD Aug. 15 from Mill Creek Entertainment.

It's a sad day for supernatural fans. Deadline reports Netflix has cancelled both V Wars and October Faction after only one season.

Based on the comic book of the same name, V Wars follows the story of scientist Dr. Luther Swann (Ian Somerhalder) whose best friend, Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes), is infected by a mysterious disease. Ian Somerhalder‘s fight against the undead is coming to an early conclusion. Netflix has cancelled the sci-fi drama V Wars after just one season, TVLine has confirmed.

The news comes on the same day fellow Idw-produced drama Locke & Key scored a renewal for a second season.

Netflix just released the trailer for “V Wars,” Ian Somerhalder’s latest vampires series — but this time, he’s not the bloodthirsty one.

The former “Vampire Diaries” star, known for playing sexy-vampire Damon Salvatore over the show’s eight seasons, stars in “V Wars” as Dr. Luther Swann, a disease specialist who is faced with a tough choice when his best friend (Adrian Holmes) catches the mysterious virus that’s turning people into vampires left and right. Based on Jonathan Maberry’s best-selling books, Somerhalder executive produces, stars in, and directs one of the episodes of the series’ first 10-episode season. V Wars, based on the Idw novel of the same name, landed a straight-to-series order back in April 2018, si it's been a while since we've heard of it. 

V-Wars focuses on Dr. Luther Swann (Somerhalder), who finds himself in a world of horror and uncertainty when a virus transforms his best friend into a vampire who feeds on the human race.
