Tim Atkin(III)

Tim started 40 Years Running films to realize his passion for storytelling - a passion that began some 40 years ago. While in the Coast Guard, he commanded two Coast Guard cutters and served on the National Security Council at the White House. During his Coast Guard service, he was involved in the filming of Hunt for Red October, and directed and produced a video short and wrote, directed and performed in a short play for Black History Month celebrations. After his military service, he was a political appointee and then moved onto a career in information technology before diving deeply into screenwriting and production. He and his husband live in south Florida. They love traveling, especially to Italy! Tim completed the New York Film Academy's 15-week Filmmaking program and is an Associate Producer on Complicated Order (pre-production).
