Roxanne Esquibel Hilburn is a Mexican American screenwriter and creator from Texas. She's repped by APA and Fox Rothschild. She was raised in an extended family environment in rural Texas, has a B.A. in Archaeology from U.T. Austin, and a background in production. She's a self-taught writer. Her Mexican American horror creature feature spec "La Lechuza" placed in semifinals in the the top 15 in horror and top 50 in drama out of a record breaking 14,000 entries at Austin Film Festival 2021. She enjoys writing comedy and genre.
