Her party trick is to be able to jiggle her breasts without moving the rest of her body. She intended to use this when she played the character of Monica in Shameless (2004).

When she is not acting she is a practitioner of the Rosen Method, a form of hands-on bodywork designed to release physical and emotional tension.

She was trained at the University of Wales.

Despite playing her mother on Shameless (2004), Apsion is just 10 years older than Anne-Marie Duff.
