Chris Jericho

During the summer of 1999, a millennium countdown appeared on WWF TV. People noticed it really didn't countdown to the Millenium, but instead August 9, 1999 at 10:00 PM. At that hour during a promo by the Rock, Chris Jericho made his debut in WWF, and it has been touted as the best debut in WWE's history.
Said two of his favorite people to wrestle are Chris Benoit and Triple H of WWE.
Has stated in multiple interviews that when he joined the WWE, his biggest goal was to be the Intercontinental Champion, because his idol Ricky Steamboat had been Intercontinental Champion as well (having defeated Randy Savage in a classic match-up from WrestleMania III). Jericho not only accomplished this only months after debuting, but has held the title more times than anyone else.
Won the WWE Heavyweight Title from Triple H on April 17, 2000, but was stripped of the title (and the match was stricken from the record) 15 minutes later.
He wears lifts, so he's actually only about 5' 10", which is why he says that he is the shortest WWF champion of all time. Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) is officially the same height, but doesn't look it because he and Jericho have different body types.
