While watching the story unfold the first movie that popped into my head was 'Thadam.' A Tamil film that had also dealt with murder mystery involving "Twins".

Anyways, I have to give props to the plot's layout and structure, especially during the investigative parts.

The writing hones in on the main case, steering clear of distractions except for the times it decided to delve into the odd romantic angle which came off unnecessary with no substantial impact on the overall storyline.

Now, my main gripe isn't about the big reveal or how they handle the buildup. It's just that I figured out who the real culprit was very early on and I even guessed the central motive behind the spree of murders.

And this predictability took every bit of excitement I may have felt otherwise.

The first half was a blast, fraught with entertaining moments that kept things lively. But once the second half kicked in, things started to get little bit messy.

Proceedings got muddled, priorities became unclear, and the overall flow just didn't come off as tight as I would have wanted them to.

Even though the ideas still had some entertainment value, I could not help but think about their full potential.

Given the intriguing buildup in the first hour and half, I did anticipate them to reach for something bigger.

However It seemed like their intentions and plans didn't quite land as strongly as they might have hoped for.

Even though I had hoped for a more impactful narrative considering the script's "dramatic" potential, I was genuinely intrigued by how well the writing maintained tension and its meticulous attention to detail in showcasing a ship submerged underwater.

It must be one of those few films set in a submarine that takes a good deal of time to explore the structure and inner functioning (along with the crew) of such a mechanical giant in great detail.

Additionally, performances do make a solid impression, even if they due to script's inherent limitations don't quite achieve the depth and sophistication you might anticipate from a story that aims to explore psychological angles.
