A wonderful fantasy in which Pinocchio, lured by a cunning fox, experiences various adventures as he tries to return home safely. It includes scary scenes, like when Geppetto, Pinocchio, and his friend Jiminy Cricket are swallowed by a whale, and Pleasure Island, where naughty children are turned into donkeys. Splendid animation at its finest and a Disney classic that has stood the test of time. Overflowing with detail and captivating artwork, it even includes an Oscar-winning song: "When You Wish Upon a Star." Plus, unforgettable characters like Geppetto the woodcarver, and Cleo the little fish. And the villains: the fox J. Worthington Foolfellow, the street cat Gideon, the showman Stromboli, and the terrifying trainer. And of course, the cat Figaro was Walt Disney's favorite character. Disney insisted that the kitten appear in the film as often as possible. It fact, Figaro also had his own cartoon series, beginning with Figaro and Cleo (1943) and appearances in the "Pluto" cartoon series. The creation of Jiminy Cricket was entrusted to Ward Kimball, his first assignment as animation director. Originally, Kimball designed the character to look more like a real cricket, but Walt Disney found it "too gross" and demanded that it be made adorable. The motion picture was well made by an expert group of animated experts: Norman Ferguson, Wilfred Jackson, Jack Kinney, Hamilton Luske, Bill Roberts, Ben Sharpsteen; all of them under supervision by Walt Disney.

Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro (2022) voices of Ewan McGregor, Cate Blanchett, Gregory Mann, Tilda Swinton, Tim Blake Nelson, Christoph Waltz; unlike most versions of Pinocchio, which take place in 19th-century Italy, Guillermo del Toro decided to set this version in 1930s Italy under the rule of Benito Mussolini and the National Fascist Party.

Blockbuster second adaptation of Marvel's diabolical hero, with Nicolas Cage, giving an adequate performance and in which Johnny Blaze, tortured by the Ghost Rider's curse, gets a chance of redemption through protecting the Devil's son, whose father is pursuing him. Alongside Cage there's a decent supporting cast, including the following: Violante Placido, Ciarán Hinds, Idris Elba, Johnny Whitworth and a brief appearance by Christopher Lambert as a fanatical monk. In the first entry the Devil, Mephistopheles (Peter Fonda), sends his bounty hunter of the damned, the Phantom Rider, to retrieve the contract of San Venganza for a thousand corrupt souls. Every generation has a Phantom Rider, cursed to roam the Earth, collecting on the Devil's deals. Seeing that the contract would give Mephistopheles the power to bring Hell to Earth, the Rider refuses to give him the contract and runs away, escaping the Devil in the process. The biker has to carry out a promise, a cursed pact with the Devil. Long ago he made a deal to save someone he loved. He renounces the love of his girlfriend Roxanne (Eva Mendes) and sells his soul to the devil Mephistopheles, who has approached him with the promise of freeing his father from a serious illness. Subjugated to his will, Blaze faces an important mission: to curb the ambitions of Blackheart (Wes Bentley), who plans to displace his father and create an even more horrible hell. In ¨Ghost Rider: spirit of vengeance¨ Blaze, the Ghost Rider, must risk everything and join forces with the leader of a cult called Moreau (Idris Elba) and against a group of rebel monks led by Methodius (Christopher Lambert) to save a child (Fergus Riordan) and his mother (Violante Placido) from the clutches of evil (Ciarán Hinds) and try to free himself once and for all from his cursed fate. Johnny Blaze returns, the Marvel character, in an inferior version to its successful predecessor. Nicolas Cage brings the character to life, and he continues to fight against the curse of being the devil's bounty hunter. In ¨Ghost Rider: spirit of vengeance¨ three comic book fans join forces: Nicolas Cage, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. The latter direct this film adaptation of Marvel's cursed superhero. The directors revisit the genre with this story inspired by the Faust myth and starring Nicolas Cage. Cage is a professed fan of the character, who was reincarnated by Cage in ¨Ghost Rider¨ by Mark Steven Johnson starring Wes Bentley, Peter Fonda, while this second outing also displays a fine support cast , such as Violante Placido, Ciarán Hinds, Idris Elba, Johnny Whitworth, Anthony Head and Vincent Regan. Apparently, Peter Fonda was offered to come back in this film but after reading the first 5 pages of the script he flat out refused. After this film, the live-action film rights to Ghost Rider went back to Marvel Studios.

Nicolas Cage is comfortable as Ghost Rider but the plot holes, flaws and gaps are too deep for even his Herbie-like arachnid motorcycle. Here bad guys with dirty teeth and sodden leathers are dispatched with lacklustre indifference.

The film features incredibly spectacular FX, a careful aesthetic of the main characters and an enjoyable cast that is completed by the beautiful italian Violante Placido, daughter of notorious Latin actors, Michele Placido and Simonetta Stefanelli.

The motion picture was badly directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. While the director of the previous entry, Mark Steven Johnson, will serve as executive producer alongside Ashok Amritraj, Ari Arad, Tom Cohen, Michael De Luca and the indispensable Stan Lee . The screenplay and the shooting is developed with no originality and it has some failures and shortcomings. Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have directed a few acceptable films such as : ¨Crank¨, its sequel : ¨Crank high voltage¨, ¨Gamer¨, ¨Vatican Tapes¨, ¨Panama¨ . ¨Ghost Rider : Spirit of Vengeance¨ rating : 4.5/10 . The film will appeal to Nicolas Cage fans, only.

The charming Rocio Durcal gives a sensitive acting the role of the film's title, who is hired to impersonate the disappeared sister-in-law of a rich man. Agreeable and colorful musical comedy starred by the always sympathetic Rocio Durcal , being accompanied by a great plethora of familiar secondaries . Of course , Rocio steals the show as the splendid singer and dancer girl, and playing a double character. Cristina (Rocio Durcal), after being widowed with a young child, has to teach languages to survive. Cristina Guzmán's only friend is her assistant and advisor Balbina (Rafaela Aparicio). One day she is discovered by a young man named Alphonse (Arturo Fernandez), who convinces her to impersonate his missing sister Mara (also played by Rocio Durcal) - to whom she has an impressive physical resemblance - and so achieve the mental and physical recovery of his brother Javier (Emilio Gutiérrez Caba), her abandoned husband, who suffers from heart disease. Meanwhile, Cristina Guzmán is assigned a governess called Mónica (the ever-charming veteran Isabel Garcés). For a time, the set-up works, but everything is complicated when the real Mara (Rocio Durcal herself) makes an appearance.

This is an entertaining and enjoyable musical Dramedy (comedy and drama) proceeded in great simplicity and delicacy with plenty of vitality , humor and vivid imagination. An engaging comedy with gorgeous musical numbers , colorful cinematography, and providing a lot of chances of dancing and singing , standing out the spectacular theatrical sequences . As Rocio performs wondergul songs, such as: ¨La primavera¨, ¨La campana¨, ¨Lástima¨, ¨I Surrender¨, composed by Fernando Arbex, Fernando Moraleda, Enrique Llovet, Antonio de Lara, Adolfo Waitzman and Sandra Lebrocq.

A fun and entertaining story in which Rocío Durcal plays a dual role: the demure widow and mother of a young boy, and the showgirl and singer, putting on almost erotic shows for the time, daring to sing and dance in a swimsuit or in a cabaret. So the main question of the movie results to be Cristina adopts the role another person by posing as the escaped wife; at the beginning the masquerade works, but then appears the true one. Well performed by Rocio Durcal , the popular teen of the Sixties and Sixties discovered by producer Luis Sanz when participated as a TV singer contest called Primer Aplauso or First Applause. This prodigy adolescent started his films debut : 1962 Cancion de Juventud by Luis Lucía and Rocio dela Mancha, following Deanna Durbin's Hollywood style . These films failed at boxoffice then she became a famous singer of popular Mexican songs and Rancheras, getting big hits all over the World . The likeable Rocio Durcal being stunningly supported by a good cast , such as : Emilio Gutiérrez Caba, Juan Luís Galiardo, Mónica Randall, Pedro Mari Sánchez, Francisco Guijar, Rafael Alcántara, José María Caffarel, Luis Morris, Alfonso del Real, Lola Herrera y special mention for Rafaela Aparicio as Balbina and Isabel Garcés as governess Mónica .

The scenarios and studios in which develop the deeds are well designed by the prolific designer Eduardo De La Torre Fuente , filled with attractive musical set pieces excellently choreographed and musical score responds appropriately to the ambient . Luminous and glimmer cinematography originating a careful atmosphere by cameraman Antonio L. Ballesteros and mostly shot in Madrid, in Ballesteros Studios . Funny , interesting and enjoyable script from Jesús María de Arozamena, Rafael J. Salvia and director Luis Cesar Amadori himself . The motion picture was professionally directed by Luis Cesar Amadori with emotion and enthusiasm enough. The Argentinean , nationalized Spanish writer/filmmaker Amadori so consistently mixed the good with the mediocre that it became quite impossible to know what to expect from him next . Here the craftsman Luis Cesar Amadori blends loving intrigues along with popular songs . Amadori was an Argentina-born former journalist and music critic who became a leading stage producer and dramatist , and , subsequently, writer-director of motion pictures in Argentina . Luis was manager in 150 theatrical spectacles . He debuts in ¨Puerto Nuevo¨(1936) co-directed by Mario Soffici . Amadori often used the pseudonym ¨Gabriel Peña¨ when he wrote his scripts .
