Sympathetic Clarence (Christian Slater) is a Detroit comic-store assistant and charming Alabama (Patricia Arquette) is an attractive call girl. Then geeky Clarence and wide-eyed prostitute Alabama meet at a cinema and fall instantly in love and subsequent marriage. The inept duo inadvertantly robs her pimp's drug (Gary Oldman) and they head to L. A. with the coke mobsters in pursuit. Pausing only to bid farewell to his drunkard dad, Police Clifford (Dennis Hopper). But the couple's get-rich-quick plans go awry when suave but at the same time monstrous boss Coccotti (Christopher Walken) tries to persuade Clifford to divulge his son's whereabouts. Meantime, the happy couple has dreams of selling their booty to a hophead Hollywood producer (Saul Rubinek).
Horrific violence mixed with very black humor clicks most of the time. Quentin Tarantino helped finance "Reservior Dogs" when he sold this screenplay, his first and there's an unrated version also available as well. If the romance seldom seems 'true', the spiralling violence does succeed, in a brutish, excessive kind of way. Resulting to be an offbeat, action-packed thriller with a star-studded cast and made in style by Tony Scott. The orgy of sadism and violence that follows after stealing millions of cocaine is like an old-fashioned comedy with adult certificate. The main entertaining of the movie is discover the secondary actor to appear in the next frame, most of them playing small characters, including the following: Christopher Walken as an icily debonair mafioso; Dennis Hopper as an ex-cop, Clarence's dad, who runs afoul of Walken; Brad Pitt as a space-case druggie; Gary Oldman as a crazed pimp; Val Kilmer as the ghost of Elvis Presley, among others. These actors deliver nice acting, but their performances are pitched at high-decibel level and their roles are all dislikeable.
The motion picture was well directed by Tony Scott, following his peculiar style. He's helped by a good cameraman, Jeffrey Kimball, who displays a colorful and brilliant cinematography, along with the catching musical score by prestigious Hans Zimmer, including a catching leitmotif, composed by synthesizer. Tony Scott alonside his brother, the famous producer/director Ridley Scott, founded a successful film production called Scott-Free Productions. Director Tony Scott has made various successful films, such as: "The Hunger", "Top Gun", "Beverly Hills cop 2", "Revenge", "Day of thunder", "The last Boy Scout", "Crimson Tide", "The Enemy of the State", "The fan", "Enemy of the state", "Spy game", "Man of fire", "Domino", and "Dejá Vu", this was his last one, because he committed suicide in 2012, jumping from a bridge.

Thomas Beckett (Tom Berenguer) is the best sniper of the US Marines, nowadays he takes on a previous friend. Sgt. Beckett is a seasoned assassin who gets a rush from killing. Beckett is an expert Marine sniper, a military hit-man with 74 kills under his belt and a troubled conscience squirming in his head. He is recruited by NSA officer (Denis Ardnt) to go to Ho Chi Minh city to eliminate his former friend, Paul Finnegan (John Doman), who has become a ruthless drug dealer and a dangerous terrorist. In Ho Chi Minh, previously called Saigon, he join forces with a Vietnam agent, Quan (Byron Mann). Quan has top brass plans but no field experience. A bit later on, they have to penetrate the lush jungle to find their target. He only needs one shot!. Everyone is a target!.
A familiar story with plenty of action, violence, shootouts, and a twisted intrigue. There's action enough, but is poorly choreographed and plot is cursory at best. Along the way, the smooth running of the operation is swiftly jeopardised by growing tension, treason and other shortfalls. The plot is somewhat reminiscent of "Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now", in which an officer, Martin Sheen, is assigned in assessinating Colonel Kurtz, Marlon Brando, on a journey through the jungle, while in "Sniper 3" a Sergeant, Tom Berenguer, has the mission to kill renegade John Doman. The motion picture was uneven but professionally directed by P. J. Pesce.
The thrilling saga Sniper is made up of "Sniper" , 1992, by Luis Llosa, stars Tom Berenguer, Billy Zane, J. T. Walsh, Aden Young, Dale Dye, dealing with Beckett goes in search of his target, a politician planning a coup with the help of a druglord. "Sniper 2" , 2002, by Craig R. Baxley with Tom Berenger, Bookem Woodbine, Dan Butler, Linden Ashby, in which Beckett is called on for one last mission, to kill a Serbian general who's committing atrocities on the Muslim population. "Sniper 3", 2004, by P. J. Pesce with Tom Berenguer, Denis Ardnt, Byron Mann. "Sniper Reloaded", 2011, by Claudio Fah with Billy Zane, Chad Michel Collins, Patrick Lyster, in which the son of the renowned sniper decides to track down the sniper who ambushed his squad down when they were sent to rescue a white planter in the Congo.

This funny comedy set in Scotland deals with a mild-mannered accountant , (Peter Sellers has rarely been more insidiously hilarious), who plots the murder of the female efficiency expert (represented by Constance Cummings), who has disrupted the comfortable regime of a traditionally-run Edinburgh tweed cloth factory.
Attractive comedy with pompous fun, based on "James Thurber's short story, The Catbird", its view of women's place in the business world is unlikely to find favour with feminists and enlightened fellow travellers. The tone shifts uncertainly between sharp satire and facile farce. An Ealing-style comedy with a sympathetic premise which raises laughs by pitting American efficiency embodied by Constance Cummings against Scots canniness personified by Peter Sellers.
Peter Sellers, always a favorite, is awesome as an elderly Scottish Highlander bent on murder when he attempts to prevent a businness takeover by a brash American woman. Robert Morley is wonderful as well, he is simply delightful , while Constance Cummings is really enjoyable; all of them help keep this British comedy on a fast and funny track. An impeccable Peter Sellers and a slendid support cast make this one unique. The good secondary cast include the following: Donald Pleasence, Ernest Thesiger, Jameson Clark, Michael Goodliffe, Alex Mckenzie, among others. Many of them are some of Scotland's finest character players of the period.
This sophisticated motion picture was well directed by Charles Crichton. He was one of the best British filmmakers, a comedy expert from Ealing studios. And making various successful films, such as: "Painted boats, Dead of night, Against the wind, Another shore, Train of events, Dance Hall, The Lavender Hill Mob, Hunted, The Titfield Thunderbolt, The love lottery, The divided heart, Law and disorder, A fish called Wanda", among others. "Battle of the sexes" rating: 6.5/10. The movie will appeal to Peter Sellers fans and classic British comedy lovers.
