Nothing special. Totally not I've wanted to see. Diane was shown as evel actor which is nonsense

Bojack depends on the Tarantula guy to restart his career. So there is a movie where the characters play each other (Wallace Shawn plays Bojack). Todd has the directing/writing bug and still resents Bojack betraying him. Diane finishes the book and it's a big bore. There was just nothing very sparkling about this episode.

I think this is a pretty funny episode and sets up the next episode well.

For me there is a lot of comedy generated by the film set scenes that uses the regular characters and in particular certain guest characters very well. I love the silliness of the humour involved with how the concept of the film keeps changing and getting more ridiculous. If you have an interest in the creative process behind filmmaking this one also lampoons the people involved in this quite well.

How it finishes sets up the next episode very well and made me want to find out what happens next with Bojack and Diane.

This just seemed like an average comedy episode, with Todd being dumb at the end, as well as consistently changing the movie so much, it wasn't even a movie at the end. At least Diane got the book done, but BoJack isn't all that pleased about it.
