I had never actually heard about this 2014 zombie movie titled "Meltdown", although the version I found was titled "Berserkers" for some reason. Regardless, with it being a horror movie, and a zombie movie at that, that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to check out what writer and director Jacob O'Brien Mulliken had to offer. I have to say, though, that I harbored zero expectations to the movie.
Writer Jacob O'Brien Mulliken put together a rather straightforward and generic script, even for a zombie movie. Sure, it wasn't exactly the worst of zombie movies that I've sat through, nor was it among the worst. Watchable for what it was, sure, but don't expect to be amazed. It should be noted that the narrative was a bit on the boring side.
Needless to say that I was, of course, not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. The acting performances were fair.
The effects in the movie were actually fair for a movie of this production level.
A low budget zombie movie, for sure, but it was definitely made with some love of the genre put into it.
My rating of writer an director Jacob O'Brien Mulliken's 2014 movie "Meltdown" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

I totally love horror videos and have seen dozens! Meltdown was the absolute worst video ever to be produced. The extra actors were so amateur. Heck, as far as that goes, ALL the actors were wannabees. I hope there wasn't a lot of money and effort put into this fiasco. Those who put this video together need to understand that there's a lot of good videos out there they need to compete with. To make a video just for the sake of making a video and hoping to become famous was a waste of their time and my time! My suggestion is to work with a real production crew first before attempting such an endeavor and put more effort into casting for those who know how to perform in front of a camera. The time I spent watching this video is gone forever.
The 3 stars are only because Alicia Marie Marcucci is so darned cute. Otherwise this would be zero stars.
Sometimes I really wish that IMDb offered negative ratings.
I want a button to push that says "I want my money back!"
Or one that says "I want that hour and a half of my life back!"
Like this is so badly done I want to file a class action suit to make sure these filmmakers never make another film.
This movie would have been better if hey had left the lens cap on.
I try to imagine the production meetings that were made to bring this...thing to life.
"Hey man, I wrote this script. It doesn't make any sense. There is no overall arc, and the characters aren't ever developed. But let's make it anyway!"
I wonder how these crappy independent filmmakers have zero self-awareness.
At no point was this story ever good.

I'm going to venture a guess that most people leaving ratings and NOT feedback are involved with this horrible excuse of a film and not legitimate reviewers.
I hope every actor involved hangs their head in shame.
I hope the writer is ashamed.
I hope the producers and director have left the country.
This is what happens when you don't have people that respect the art of filmmaking make a film.
I want to destroy every physical copy of this film.
I'm afraid one day, aliens will find this and think this is how earthlings made movies.
Embarrassing.
