Gekijô-ban Jujutsu Kaisen Shibuya Jihen Tokubetsu Henshû-ban × Shimetsu Kaiyû Senkô Jôei

If you've only watched Jujutsu Kaisen up to the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, then I would highly recommend watching the whole Shibuya Incident arc before thinking about seeing Execution, as the 40 minutes dedicated to Shibuya don't do it justice at all. You get the key highlights and the need to know info, plus Sukuna's fight is the improved Blu-ray version and not what aired on TV, but a lot of the context is lost, and it will confuse new viewers.

Despite Season 3 being known as the Culling Game Arc, we don't see any of it - the first two episodes cover the Itadori's Extermination Arc and the start of the Perfect Preparation Arc. The fight scenes in these episodes are really good, and there's just enough to tease you with for the rest of the season.

Of course it's not going to live up to Infinity Castle or Reze, as it's just a compilation rather than an actual movie, but after over two years away, it's good to have JJK back. Roll on January 2026!

In this trend of anime series trying to cash in with a recap plus a couple of episodes of a new season, this time it's Jurassic Park's turn.

When you go to see these recaps in theaters, you wonder what kind of product you're going to find; after all, it's not a movie per se.

We've had bad ones like "Dan Da Dan" and "KNIGHT 6," but also some good ones like "Solo Leveling." I consider Jurassic Park to be somewhere in between.

We know that season 2, despite its problems with the animators and MAPPA, was amazing and established the "Shibuya Incident" arc as one of the most immense ever seen in anime. However, during this recap, I feel it doesn't do it justice. I also didn't notice the much-talked-about improvement in the fight between Sukuna and Mahoraga, but above all, it's very fast-paced, and while that doesn't bother me, it persists throughout the entire "movie."

The first two episodes of season 3 are very well animated, featuring some impressive fight sequences, but they also have quite a few flaws. Again, it feels rushed, with no time to explain things like what these blessed games they're about to enter are or why some characters survived the Shibuya incident. I feel like a lot of situations and concepts are taken for granted, which doesn't contribute to the dynamics or the evolution of the story.

I'm afraid that the entire season, which will have half the number of episodes of the previous two, will be like this: rushed and lacking explanations. If this happens, it would be a shame, since JJK has established itself as one of the most important shonen anime of the decade, and its quality has always been top-notch.

Don't bother watching it in the cinema. A complete waste of money and time. Nearly half the runtime is recycled summaries from the previous season, new content was very good the fights look cool, the characters are nice and it aligns perfectly with the known story, but short lived, shouldn't have been a full movie, not enough content.

The animation and such is amazing as always, but the first half or even more is the Shibuya arc summarized and the action if just few minutes.

Kinda felt ripped of for going to the cinema in Japan for this. Wate of time compared to just watch it at home in some months.

There is no point to go to the cinema for it. The fights look cool, the characters are nice and it alings perfectly with the known story. So i am looking forward to next season, but it seems like it will just ve the first episodes of the next season to be honest.
