Inimigo Desconhecido: Enemy Unknown

I am a huge fan of movies like this, so i was excited to see what they did with this tribute, so the movie starts very well with the team of mercenaries set to go on a rescue mission, but then the creature starts killing them one by one, and that´s when the gore starts to appear, As for character development, it goes without saying that it's remarkably sparse but effective. The acting is well all around, considering that this is not a very dramatically demanding story for anybody. The script is precise, it doesn't force the cast to act stupid, or insults the intelligence of the audience; another reason why it works! The creature is amazing and would make Stan Winston proud to see that they did a real tribute to his original creature. Rui Constantino delivered an absolute gem with this one. The pacing is superb. A great film, one of a kind.

It´s just the most awesome low budget movie ever ! I´ve worked on this movie, and let me tell you, director Rui Constantino is a visionary, this man has great ideas to take a movie from the beggining to end with great intensity and wisdom. It´s a real team effort, and i´m very proud to have worked in a movie like this. There's a tremendous atmosphere as the mercenaries enter the jungle, it's like another world and straight away the audience is thrown out of its seat, when the first attack begins. The score needs mentioning, because it´s a great tribute to the original Predator. This movie is full of easter eggs of tribute to the Predator franchise, so look out for them. The alien creature is so cool and awesome, full of pratical effects, weapons and all. This is by far my favorite movie i´ve worked on.

So for me it is a definite 10 out of 10.

A true pleasant surprise of a film, straight to the point and action packed The cast and performances are great as are the majority of the action sequences. Should have been about half an hour longer to flesh out the characters and maybe have a few more plot twists but as a straightforward, entertaining and visually appealing sci-fi actioner it works.

I didn't know what to expect from this movie, it seemed like an action in the jungle, guns and blaze...but was i wrong... As far as the story goes, it follows in the line of traditional survival horror tactics of having a large number of expendable characters and the big bad monster. A mildly amusing story is there for those who wish to indulge in some twists and turns, but it does the job of moving things along. Performances for the most part are well done, especially from Pinecross who seems to have put in a lot of work in his character, also didn´t know the director was the creature, until i saw his name in the credits, good for him, it turned out great. The background score works well to create tension. The violence and gore are believable very well done, great practical effects. This movie is proof that even with a low budget you can make incredible things.

Finally it has arrived, i´ve been waiting for this movie for 2 years, and the wait is over, but It did not disappoint. It was entertaining and fun to watch from start to finish, the characters are pretty thin and not much story develops outside of just staying alive. There's more to an action movie than the action. There's suspense and build-up. This movie had those. Just sit back, enjoy the popcorn and absorb it all. This movie is just begging for a sequel.
