Treasure Hunter: Legend of the White Witch

Acting isn't the best. Storyline, not sure what to say about it.

Over and over I shake my head wondering why this project got the green light to go into production. After reading the screen play the writers should have been exorcised then fired. This is a great story, lots of potential, unfortunately turned into a movie by a group of lobotomized zombies. The continuity supervisor slept through the entire production along with the wardrobe dept and set designers if they even hired any. Let's discuss one scene for those that have seen the film. The jungle scene were the group hires a guide to lead them to the temple. The guide takes them on a trek through the jungle wearing a tank top and a machete, of course the hike now includes an overnight and the guide has no gear not even backpack. It's lousy scene prep, layout and storylines like this that turn this film into a disaster and I haven't even touched on the acting.... just find something else to watch.

I don't typically like to read movie reviews before I have the chance to view them, in my opinion they can be extremely unreliable, especially with the rapid growth of the internet. This however is one of those cases where I wish I would have because after making it 35 minutes into the movie it deserves the ratings it has received.

What I did find funny was the email I received from Netflix stating "we just added a movie you might like". Seriously I don't think the biggest Randy Couture fan could find this movie entertaining.

Keep in mind I only made it 35 minutes into the movie, so unless you want to gamble the movie total redeems itself during the remaining 50 minutes, my advice would be not to steer clear.

I like randy couture as an actor, i liked him in the expendables (i own all three and have watched them several times), i recently watched the manson brothers midnight zombie massacre and enjoyed that movie a lot (i love zombie flicks but this is the first enjoyable one ive seen IN AWHILE, most are low budget trash), about 15 minutes in and i gave up, i couldnt watch it anymore, im sorry you got roped into this randy, i hope they gave you a bonus for agreeing to this, the true nightmare was for everyone acting in this film, im sure they stocked up on ulcer medication to get through it.

Movie has the look and feel of college student's first film project using their parent's weekly allowance as the budget. The movie does not even reach the video quality of today's smartphones(actually a smartphone video would have been a big upgrade). Writing, direction and acting is on par with someone who wrote, directed the entire movie while on a week long vacation in a Central/South American country.

I can enjoy a low budget B movie....this does not qualify.
