Movie is nice can be watchable for one time. Emotion of father for her daughter reflects through out the movie which also touched a serious concern of society. Action support the heroism of father. Little lengthy but background music and emotions will keep u in theater for 2 hrs 50 minutes. Acting of Gaura filled nicely where it needs. Chasing scene was little lengthy and conversation between Sayyeshaa and her father was slow. There was no need to show Sayyesaa and father role. Some times it looks movie is justifying its own story that may bore you for 10 to 15 minutes. The action by Ajay was brilliant and u can easily find the eyes effect of Ajay, how he talks with help of them. Overall i can recommend for nice weekend and festive season. Have a good time.
i wont reveal the plot... its a simple story with twist. acting is terrific...!! action & direction is a never before seen experience... an emotional action journey with breath taking stunts which are kept very real... it makes you leave the cinema hall with some tears & a little smile on your face... don't believe the critics. a must watch family entertainer...!!! hats off to the direction skills & acting skills... just a bit lengthy... otherwise a masterpiece filled with thrills... emotions & high octane stunts... the visuals are mind blowing... background score is also very good... you really should not miss this one...!!
I have never been a great fan of Ajay Devgn, but I couldn't resist myself watching this movie first day after watching the amazing trailers which has astounded audience worldwide. And, I wasn't disappointed.
The movie actually didn't wasted time in establishing characters or their equation. Though, we got an idea about the story-line through trailers, still there are few twists that feel keep you on the edge. Despite the duration of close to 3 hours, I didn't feel bored or checked by phone even once. The action sequences are the best ever coming from Indian Cinema which goes hand in hand with amazing composition, picturesque cinematography . It is so good at times you won't be able to guess which scenes actually used Green screen.
The music is extremely powerful and has been timed nicely, 'Darkhast' and 'Raatein' comes in 40min and picks pace right after that.
The only problem I had was with the dialogues which at times felt over the top, certain conversations were uncalled for. A few scenes could have been toned down, they were unnecessarily exaggerating Shivaay's presence. The story wasn't something you haven't seen before however, the execution was thrilling and spot on.
Watch this movie for never-seen-before Cinematography, FX & action (interesting ending and great music are bonus)
PS: This may seem like Taken in some aspects, but it has a deeper emotional connect, distinct execution and amazing visual appeal .

Breathtaking visuals, action sequence, good background score, emotions well expressed without words which is the best part of the movie and must watch if you like action movies. But I felt not so entertaining as I am not a great fan of this genre.1st half was bit slow though second half gains the momentum and keeps suspense till the end.
The movie would have been more entertaining if dialogues were there as Indian audience love them the most and Ajay had done it in OUATM, Singham and Singham returns and well accepted and people love it. But in Shivaay lacked it.
Anyways to be honest its a must watch movie but for once and if you love action then this is the Bollywood action movie till date.
