Hippopotamus

The whole production IMHO does more in each scene with raw talent from the filmmaking / acting / script that most of the big budget affiliates will have to agree to in senseless amounts of contract money and years in planning , and fail to add decent (film ) work to stand-up to time when completed and looked back on in that simple respect.

It does not leave one feeling in the least ..that they just spent their time foolishly and then turning mad as hades at an aggravating ending.

..if you enjoy thinking and feeling and the " what -ifs " of a thought provoking movie then I humbly say you would find the respect for it that I did and that it deserves. I very rarely comment about anything and don't do social media for what its worth , but do always give respect and credit where it is due.

Some details are pretty quickly revealed, and they begin to paint a different picture than what the watcher originally thought was true. I loved watching the way the two characters interacted and trying to figure out what to believe. Both characters were compelling. This movie did not turn out how I expected and I loved the minimal scene changes. It gave the movie an intimate feel.

If you like your movies wrapped up nice and neat at the end so that you have a sense of closure, this is not the film for you. When I got to the end my mind was reeling so I watched it again. And again. This movie is brilliant and haunting. I loved it.

A woman wakes to a nightmare scenario; she's hurt, kidnapped, and locked in a room, alone, and she has no memory. The man who has her walks in and announces that he will not let her go until she falls in love with him. She doesn't know what to think. How could she? As days go on she starts to piece things together a bit. Much of the storyline is absurd but just as much of it is absorbing. The cast is about as spare as they come, with only a handful of actors, but the two stars are spot-on.

After seeing a scene of it on social media, I was hooked and had to watch it. The film as a whole is absolutely brilliant, although it felt more like a short film.

I'd highly recommend giving it a watch if suspense and thrillers are your type of thing.
