Most times that Noah Fearnley and Mariah Moss show up as paired leads, the chemistry feels real. In this film, not so much because they spend too much of the movie playing hurtful games with one another about the paternity of a child and Moss's character's marital status. Are not vertical writers smart enough to know that courts grant paternity tests in such situations readily and that marital records are public documents? The conflict element was drawn out way too long because Fearnley's character could have determined the answers in a couple of days. Additionally, if either party had genuine love for each other, the antagonism would not have occurred in the first place.
The positive for me was the casting. Despite the hoaky plot arc, Fearnley and Moss turn in great emotional acting. The principal supporting cast all delivered their characters credibly. The two female support actors, Abigail Stanton and Nina Nerva are not only good at their work, they are downright fetching to look at.
Not my favorite film due to the stupid script, but a lot of good looks paired together with good acting chops make this at least a one-time view.
