I love magic. Always have since I was a kid & that love has grown with me. I've seen so many specials, YouTube videos, live shows, I can't even count. But MAGIC LOVER, leaves those rabbits still in the top hats. Justin Wilman is a true hybrid, a skilled magician with a comedic sensibility and his audience reaps the rewards.
His act was fresh & I couldn't tell what was coming, most of the time. If he wants you to skip ahead, he'll leave an easily followed trail. I prefer to be surprised my magic tricks & not pull back the curtain seeing the hidden devices, extra cards, whatever makes the trick work. With Justin Wilman's show, there was not a curtain in sight to peek behind. His knowledge of Zip Codes was memorized, but even the Postmaster General couldn't match city & state with the ones thrown at him by audience members.
Justin Wilman's finale was like nothing I've ever seen before. The randomness with which it began set the tone for each progressive step that when revealed, left mine & my husband's mouths hanging open. We applauded along with the audience, ready to give him the standing ovation he deserved. I don't want to give specific's, other than his phenomenal use of zip codes, because you should see this show with little before hand knowledge. Besides, nothing I could explain would prepare you for that jolt of incredulity mixed with the whispered, "How'd he do that?" as all is revealed. The phrase seeing is believing doesn't apply here. I saw, but still don't believe what I saw was even possible. And the most amazing things is just as one step is revealed, he unveils the next step, then the one following that until your head is spinning & your mouth falls open. I'm still flabbergasted & will watch this special until I can figure out something he did. I predict I'll be sitting transfixed in front of my TV until those mythical cows come home. Watch, enjoy & use both sides of your brain while attempting making rational sense of what you just witnessed.

I was lucky enough to see this show in Madison, WI and enjoyed watching this performance just as much. Which is to say A LOT.
Justin just has a way about him - he isn't smarmy like a lot of magicians, he's charming and quick with the wit. The magic is unique and fun for all ages. I have zero idea how he does any of the tricks, and even though I am the +1 (I actually was), I really prefer not knowing.
If you can see him live find a way to do it. If you can't, then watch this special. Or any of his TV shows (Magic for Humans, anyone?). There's a reason he's gotten as popular as he has and I'm so glad to see it.
10 stars. 73.8 quadrillion. 5/5 Narwals.

Wow, I am just in complete awe of this man's talent. This was the 'perfect' show if there ever was such a thing. It's sooooooooo freakin' good! Really funny, super entertaining, mind-boggling in the best of ways, good-natured, etc. I could go on and on. He is so good at improvising and connecting with the audience... And guess what? He's actually funny! Seriously, I haven't seen a show this good in y-e-a-r-s. I'm shocked that there are not more reviews already. This is an easy ten out of ten. Somehow a whole hour goes by without you even realizing it, yet it doesn't feel like it was too short. Like I said, just 'perfect'. I don't know how he did it (although I'm sure years and years of honing his skills must have something to do with it), but this felt absolutely perfect on every level... Dare I say, the kind of 'perfect' that feels like pure magic! Justin, thank you for sharing your incredible talent... This was so needed in a time where finding good, clean, and fun entertainment seems harder than ever. This was absolutely amazing! *Oh, and I hardly ever write reviews, but this deserves so much more attention... I just needed to support this incredible show and this man's talent.
I needed fun. This show was it. You move from one sequence of tricks to an even more amazing segment. This isn't the stale saw the person in half magic we get in lots of shows. Innovative and mind blowing. Wilmer has a great rapport with the audience. His comedy is clever. I suspect he's actually an elf. He has the ears. Notice the ears. Particularly enjoyed his explanation of Econ 101. I don't want to know how the magic works. I just want more.
Magic Lover is a great video for the family. It may be the start of an interest in Magic for your kids. I'm pretty sure families will continue to watch this over the years.
