Raas (Finding Your Roots)

Raas is a very beautiful heartwarming family drama. The humour and emotions are blended in a lovely way that it keeps you engaged throughout. The Bengali joint family household is nicely portrayed that you will feel like a part of the the family itself. It makes you nostalgic about the feel-good moments you have together. And the drama confrontation scene where it takes a big stand against the domestic violence gave me goosebumps. Vikram showed his mass side for a few seconds and that whole sequence was the highlight for me. His chemistry with Devlina was so good. And each and every cast member did a good job. Because of all these factors you will be able to ignore some flaws here and there. But during a time when producers are making highly melodramatic, soap opera type Bengali family drama, Raas comes like a breath of fresh air and definitely among y favourite Bengali films of recent times.
