My Stubborn

The best BL i have seen till now. The main couple has perfect chemistry , they are not feminine (an off for me) with excellent acting skills. They start their relationship as a teacher student in the erotic field but we watch it to transform little by little to a love relationship. Oh my... their scenes are so hot and not leave much to fantasy. After every episode you need time to cooldown from the heat.

The plot shows so nice their journey . It has humor, passion, a mature young fellow at 21 years old and an afraid for his real feelings 26 years old and the journey till their HEA. Fortunately you don't get tired of the length of the series.

The other couples try their best but can't say have the same energy or affect to me so I had them in forward. (but that didn't change my overall opinion on the series).

Jun's character stole my heart.

He's the definition of soft yet strong - manly in presence but with the most adorable puppy-like energy. Honestly, the actor playing Jun is beyond gorgeous. There's something about him that makes you want to wrap him in a blanket and protect him, even while he throws himself headfirst into a flaming pit of emotional chaos (aka, Sorn).

And then there's Sorn.

A walking red flag. Or rather, a forest of red flags. He's toxic, manipulative, dominant, and everything that would make you run in real life. But the way this drama paints their relationship? You stay. You stay and watch and root for the madness because their chemistry is just that intense. The tension, the pain, the intimacy - it's magnetic.

If you're the kind of viewer who likes your BL dramas served with a side of soft, healthy romance - this might not be your thing. But if you enjoy raw, flawed, fiery love stories that border on obsession and still feel painfully real... My Stubborn is for you.

The story is simple but powerful.

You'll crave more, especially if you're watching for Sorn and Jun's scenes (and let's be honest - you will be). The second lead couples didn't quite hit for me, but the main duo carried the entire show effortlessly. The emotional pull and the sheer level of intensity between them? Unmatched.

And let's talk about the intimate scenes... This show does not hold back. These are some of the most legit, well-done, and emotionally charged scenes I've seen in a BL in a long time. There's chemistry, yes, but also emotional vulnerability - which makes them even hotter and more meaningful. You can tell the actors poured themselves into these roles.

I haven't felt this drawn to a BL since Bad Buddy, but My Stubborn goes further in some ways. It's not a fairytale - it's messy, deep, toxic, obsessive, and so addicting. I honestly wish I could wipe my memory clean and rewatch it from scratch.

Final thoughts: Watch My Stubborn. Prepare to scream. Prepare to cry. Prepare to throw your pillow across the room. It's emotional whiplash in the best way possible. And please, can someone cast Jun in more dramas already? That man is a national treasure.

I watched this series because I was curious about Sorn's character and whether he'd actually grow or change.

My Stubborn isn't your typical fluffy BL. It's a tough watch. Sorn acts like a jealous, possessive boyfriend toward Jun, yet reminds him they're just sex buddies and there are no feelings involved. And Jun? He just lets it happen. They're both toxic. It was frustrating to watch at times.

Sorn's the prideful type he didn't want to admit he liked Jun, even though it was obvious. Their relationship started out as sex buddies and slowly turned into something more. Honestly, I found that part pretty realistic. Stuff like that really happens.

Sorn's character is definitely a walking red flag, he seriously got on my nerves. He keeps calling Jun a kid when Jun is clearly a grown man. That said, the actor who played Sorn killed it. And Jun's actor nailed the role too stubborn, kind of clueless at times. But when Jun finally stood up for himself and disappeared, it was so satisfying. I actually cheered seeing Sorn all desperate and running after him.

Do I think Sorn loved Jun? Yes. But he was a coward about it. Even after admitting his feelings, the way he treated Jun didn't change much. Their chemistry was okay, not mind-blowing, but it worked. Sorn is a flawed character, and that actually added a bit of realism to the story, because there are people like him in real life.

My Stubborn isn't a light or feel-good series. It's toxic, messy, and frustrating. I've seen others complain about Sorn's character and I get it. But again, it's realistic. If you can't handle flawed characters or morally grey love interests, maybe skip this one.
