Don't Listen 2

The idea behind this horror short is quite clever: a woman listens to a podcast as a bedtime story, but everything that happens in the story also begins to happen to her. And it's a terrifying story. As in many other horror shorts by this director, an eerie smile makes an appearance-likely because it has become a kind of trademark.

On the positive side, the story works well for a film under five minutes. However, something didn't quite click for me. It was probably the acting-not bad, but perhaps a bit too relaxed for the situation, both from the victim and the perpetrator-making the film feel less frightening. Then again, this is a very prolific director, and with such an exceptionally large number of releases, not every film can be a masterpiece.
