His Story of Itihaas

Usually, when there is a raw truth - the movie is not suitable to be watched with kids/family. One of the rare movie in bollywood which is based on truth - which can-be/should-be/must-be - watched with kids. A lot of things in the movie are directly connected with our daily routine/experiences - starting from "our past" history book(which is taught in CBSE) TO our borrowed fake identity TO poison in the thoughts of officers from reserved category .. and the list goes with several complex dimensions it has tried to cover, which mainstream cinema is too afraid to get anywhere close to. The best part - movie has not tried to manufacture a solution at the end- the problem is far too aged& complex to be solved by a movie. Its intent is to suitably stimulate us to review existing scheme of things - and it does that so elegantly that I would give it 10/10. Go, watch in multiplex with your family than seeing a pirated version elsewhere.

I know where this story comes from, it comes from a guy named Neeraj Atri who, a physics teacher (like me), turned into a historian delving into history that is not taught in schools but is hidden under archives of systemic bankertuptsy of values and morals.

The history of India or Bharat that was never told among Balbans, Victorias, Marxs, Nehrus and Gandhis. The true history of Sambajis, Laxmibais, Savarkars, Pathas etc who sacrificed their lives and more for this land they called their mother because they if could do more, they would have done it.

The history with real proof and not a mere footnote that it was a manifestation of a leftist's dream of how Bharat should be and not how it really was.

The real history not from the eyes of the invader but those who lived on to protect what was their and was handed over to them from their ancestors, from Ram, Krishna etc. A true history to be proud of.

It's our responsibility to support such movies. Needs lot of courage to present the truth. 💯 Movie shows what was hidden from the history books of school. The education system where the foundation is built for any child is not to be blindly trusted. There can be mistakes or there can be things added to the curriculum on purpose by the people who are in power or those who have the authority.

This movie should also be released in the other regional languages. Sadly there are way too less shows for the movie as of today. But things can change on public demand. Need more publicity and promotion for the movie.

Recently watched this movie and it has successfully changed my idea of looking at what I actually learned at school and so many things which were altered. I hope school boards from all over the country take notes on the issues raised and make the changes so the real unaltered history comes to light.

Especially the characters shown in the movie, I hope such people who wish to divide us with propagandas should be made to answer for their true intentions and if not cite their sources. I hope even the teachers take a step and realise to these curriculum changes and step up to teach the real history of India.

I repeat:

Before you read any book you must watch this movie.

Root cause of every problem is distorted history books studied in schools.

Child became what they read.

NCERT/school history books do not have any source from where it was taken. It is written in a manner that Indians dislike their culture. Side effects of distorted Indian history books are clearly shown in the movie.

After watching this film, your social, political knowledge will increase.

Film is the reality.

Film also tell how system did not give value to true historian R. C majumdar.
