A brief short by Adam Elliot, director of dark comedy stop-motion films such as Harvie Krumpet, Mary and Max and Memoir of a Snail.
Interestingly enough, this is apparently his only non-claymation work, being a hand-drawn black and white animation instead; however, many of the distinctive elements present in the rest of his ouvre are clearly present here, such as the very peculiar aesthetic with odd and unusual character designs, following once again some rather unusual individuals engaging in all sorts of eccentric behavior...And of course, the black humour couldn't be missing, which manages to be displayed in all its splendor here, despite its one-minute length.
An interesting addition to Elliot's filmography, and I certainly wouldn't mind seeing its director venture into hand-drawn animation once again.
