They use the title to get views by click bait. It has nothing to do with jhon wick or his universe. You might say "not every ballerina movie with assassins is about jhon wick". Check the dates. This movies is TRASH and comes out the same year. Just to capitalize on the name. Movies like this should be outlawed.
Considering that this movie was made for $100,000 I have to say it was excellent. Obviously, there were corners cut, but the talent to make this on that kind of budget shows enormous talent.
I hope someone sees this and gives these people a shot at making this or another movie with a real budget. It's a crying shame to see some of the crap that comes out with huge money poured into it that is just wasted, and this happens a lot!
I can see what this movie would have been with money for extras in casting, special effects, and other things required for an action movie. If it was a book, it would have been easy, but the visual medium of movies requires a lot of money, especially is you are telling a story with choreography and action sequences.
Here's hoping someone gives these people a chance!

Poor acting, more like a B western. The effects were very amateurish, I have seen better on tick tock. Super glad I did not pay full price for this video. I do not know how they could even think this was even in the same ballpark as any of the John Wick movies. Guess they thought it would pull enough people in before the reviews tanked it. I should of read the reviews.
On paper, Ballerina Assassin sounds like it could have been fun: a mix of elegance and lethality, with a ballerina who trades pirouettes for pistol shots. Unfortunately, what ends up on screen is neither stylish nor suspenseful.
The film struggles with tone-it wants to be sleek and artsy but lands somewhere between cliché and unintentionally comical. Dialogue feels forced, choreography of both the dancing and the fighting lacks fluidity, and the plot holes are hard to ignore. One in particular had me shaking my head:
If you overhear someone giving an order to kill your friend, what's your first move? In real life, you'd grab your phone and call them immediately. In this film, however, logic is tossed out the window-characters make baffling choices just to push the story forward. It breaks any sense of immersion, leaving you rolling your eyes instead of gripping your seat.
There are a few decent visual flourishes and the lead actress does her best with the material, but overall Ballerina Assassin feels like a missed opportunity: too implausible, too poorly stitched together, and far less thrilling than its title promises.
Unless you're a die-hard fan of the "so-bad-it's-good" category, you might want to skip this dance.
