NXT Stand & Deliver

Prior to their match, Ethan Page tells Ricky Saints aka Ricky Starks that "NXT doesn't like outsiders". Before signing with WWE in 2025, Saints gained popularity while in AEW. In reality, Saint's first-ever career match was with WWE, jobbing in a two-in-one handicap match with Robbie Barnes against Jinder Mahal aka Yuvraj Dhesi on the August 7, 2012 edition of WWE SmackDown (1999). Between Saints and Page, it was the former who first appeared on NXT. Saints' first appearance on NXT was on its January 7, 2016 edition, losing in a tag-team match against Colin Cassady & Enzo Amore. Page's first WWE appearance was on the June 9, 2024 edition of NXT, losing to the then NXT champ Trick Williams Matrick Belton in a championship match. Both Saints and Page had three prior one-on-one matches in three previous promotions (one on AEW, one on Sabotage Wrestling, and one on Wrestling In The USA), in which Saints emerged victorious in each fight.
