Just a little bit of crisis

A pretty happy housewife seems to have a good life. Then her Dad dies, her football star boy gets busted for underage drinking. Her valedictorian girl cheats at a test.

Not a major set of crises but more realistic that way. Things that could affect regular people. See how she deals with her setbacks through faith.

Just Awful

The only two redeeming characters in this movie are the dad and the daughter. The mother is just ridiculous and whoever chose the wardrobe for the Bible study leader.......🙄 Shallow football film with even more shallow plot. He is a pouty little brat kind of like his mom. Don't waste your time.

Could have used subtitles

The "background" music overpowered the dialog throughput the movie. Subtitles could have helped. Being able to hear probably would have improved my score!

You feel like you need to carry this for the director!

Clearly the most unentertaining movie I have ever seen! Not once did I feel connected to one or the carry, or I could relate to them at all. In fact, I found myself thinking, "Really?". Like when Beau is driving with Ravyn after confessing to the coach, he's supposed to be mad but then calmly gets back into the car. How about emotion, make me feel your pain with you?!?!?!? That's just one example. The plot had enough to work with, but the writing and acting couldn't bring the point home. I put all this on the director who should have demanded better writing and acting. Certainly won't waste any time watching the sequel, and I hope to spare you the time of watching its original.

Good idea but AWFUL movie

I am a Christian and love a good faith based movie but this was not one of them. I HATED this movie. The acting is awful and awkward. The way the movie was written is very un- natural, over-dramatic, labored and too deliberate. It is actually rather painful to watch it was done so poorly. The editing is very poorly done as well and there are many inconsistencies. Also the movie is not based in reality. People don't act in real life at all like they do in this movie. The movie suggests that life is perfect and everything has to be done perfectly which is not realistic at all. I could' even finish it and only got about 3/4 through it. If you want a good faith based movie try Gods not dead or do you believe or war room but stay far far away from this one!!! It is easily one of the worst movies I ever saw!
