I reviewed the rest too so let's end this: The manga is sadly still ongoing (violent porn in a shonen magazine is a good recipe for decent money) but the anime ends here and at least 37 episodes too late. I am not anti pornography but this "series" is out of control as a narrative can barely be found a "real" show would have problems to fill even 3 episodes with the story presented here. But have no fear as age inappropriate sadomasochism, rape, new fetishes like water-sports and the worst representation of homosexuality possible are still in. The amount of naked grade schoolers is at least doubled compared to earlier offerings and even the main character has changed his gender to give a new character for viewers to jerk off to... Let's see if the later anime by Hoods will stay in japan or if anime industry will recover from the current slump and stop relying on tits and ass to sell itself. Good modern anime shows would be Attack on Titans and Mardock Scramble (which is excessively dark) and this second season flopped in japan btw. Well shock content can only work once and it only give the industry a bad name and sets it back to the early 90s and that wasn't a good time at all.
I'm gonna be entirely honest here; the art style is so pretty. The fight scenes I've seen so far are super engaging and well-choreographed, the protagonist is easy favorite character material with his design and the excellent job his voice actor is doing. The girls are not just 2-dimensional units only there for the fanservice: they have personality and their own goals and things they strive for, and it's easy to grow fond of them. The first villain is a legitimate threat, there are legitimate stakes in the battles because people might just as well die. It's made clear in the first episode that this is meant to be a darker kind of story, so thankfully it's easy to simply leave it be if that's not your thing; you're not gonna get unpleasantly surprised later on, you know what you're getting into in the first 5 minutes.
The premise is... interesting. Qwasers are actually quite cool, I'm a fan of them having control over a specific element, and like I said, the fight scenes this produces go hard. And... the wacky premise of them needing... you know... breast milk (or soma, as they call it) to fight - you know what, fine. Whatever. Slay. It's got that "don't like, don't watch" that you should by all means take seriously (as in, don't watch this show if you do not want bare boobs on your screen), and definitely makes for something interesting. And the show actually pulls it off. The ecchi is there, there are bare boobs, sure, but some of the scenes of this nature are legitimately beautiful portrayals of eroticism.
In short, honestly? This actually works, this could've been quite the show.
So I just have one question. Why does it always need to be kids? Why are the ones with their tids out the 15-16 year old girls, why is the protagonist literally *thirteen* years old? I have nothing against the premise, sure it's wacky but it works. Beautiful as some scenes may be, though... given the moaning and the blushing, it's clear that they're meant to be sexual. So why couldn't the characters just be adults?
Despite the good things that this show has going for it, I stopped watching after the second episode. It would've cost nothing to just make them all 18+.

This anime is a new spin of its own its unique. It has everything from character development to romance to action its truly an all in one anime I would recommend that you give it a shot and watch it for yourself but in my opinion it's amazing, unique, and filled with battle scenes. All in all I would say that it is a very balanced show. The main character follows his mission and completes it which is rarely seen so it's a nice touch I would highly recommend.
This anime/manga is the worst garbage i have read/watched in the last 10 years. I have seen the horrible anime like MD Geist and Urotsukidoji watched "line crossing" movies like Cannibal Holocaust and they are nothing compared to thisand it gets even worse as it goes along. For example a major villain later on is Eva Braun (Hitlers wife) who is a immortal lesbian who rapes younger clones of herself to death to stay alive. I don't get it eater. No research went into making this manga/anime. The religious and historical facts are all wrong and Germany is presented as a country that looks like it is visually stuck in the middle ages. (I am from Germany by the way and am part Russian so this burns double for me.) I hope that the abysmally low average rating at for example ANN supports my own rating here. Please don't support it with your money and by something good like Berserk, Vagabond or Blade of the Immortal. These are also "mature" but in a good way and don't celebrate the rape of underage schoolgirls like this piece of trash. Seriously this series is rape play the comic book. Also, this series is a shonen manga in japan (like Naruto), so it is suited for all ages. Very classy Champion Red. Sentai Filmworks, shame on you for translating this filth.

- WissenswertesThere're three different versions (the slightly censored and uncensored look very similar) of the anime : The one is a TV version that was heavily censored in bad quality. The other is a webcast version, founded on Biglobe's AnimeOne section website, that was still slightly censored, though it was mostly unnoticeable. The DVD/Blu-Ray version is completely uncensored.
