I think this deserves some interest. It shows a level of writing and humor (pun-linked-non-sequiturs). This is definitely beyond low-budget humor. The acting is also interesting in that I can't say its wooden, most of the characters (maybe it the same person throughout) have a passion in their lines. There is some great use of low-budget innovation - imagine the drawing of South Park but with cheesy special effects. This is not some sort of 'earnest' attempt to make a 'real' film - yet it is totally genuine - in that weird quirky way. This is like a 'The Onion' film meeting the 'Naked News'. I would class this as a sort of cult cult film.
I watched it only because two friends of mine are in it, and they both spend their entire screen time naked. It may be significant that neither told me they were in this movie until I found out on my own (I have photographed each of them naked many times, so it wasn't that). It has all the features one would expected from a Zebub movie: Lots of naked women, the women who aren't naked just wearing lace stockings and a garter belt, with many close-ups of their torsos, with the actress's face out of frame, and many of those mostly naked women having their breasts fondled and having simulated sex with full-dressed men. It also has that special Zebub trademark, where he shoots a scene from two angles, but doesn't match the lighting/color balance between the cameras, so it's quite jarring when he cuts from one to the other. Also, several of the scenes involve dialogs between two people who are never together in the same shot and were clearly filmed at different times (and might not have been aware what the other's lines were).
The movie itself has no plot to speak of. Not even a premise really, more of a "concept". As many sci-fi stories have a social progressive message, Zebub wanted to spoof that with a sci-fi movie with an anti-social message: Aliens from the future crash on present day Earth and through several vignettes reveal the glory of their all-white utopia of the future. The other connection between these scene, if that the visitors wear clown suits which is supposed to be the "uniform" of this ship. That is the entirety of the "humor" in this "comedy". The satire of this might of come through if the dialog was in any way funny, instead of mind-numbingly inane and banal, but it just comes off as a bunch of privileged white guys ranting about political correctness. Along the way, it probably sets the record for the use of the N-word in a movie, so you'll want to keep the volume low, lest your neighbors start talking about you, or better yet, just fast-forward through those part. I guess Zebub realized that would be a popular option, as later in the movie, he has the dialog play over a dancing naked woman. Between switching among those scenes are interspersed heavy-metal music videos, which do show some interesting camera work not evident anywhere else here, presenting what can be done which a clearly near zero budget with a creative use of slow motion, and obvious toys used as miniature sets.

The rantings in this movie remind me of my relative's ravings on how the Earth is flat and the moon landings were all a complex government hoax. They both show the same self-righteous zealotry, while lacking a basic of grip on reality. I can only assume such confident delusions are the result of taking too many mind altering substances. Perhaps the 420 crowd will "get it". The film's only redeeming feature is Maeva Athena, whose appearance briefly lights up this otherwise tiring piece of dribble.
I'm shocked that this movie was even made. I has absolutely no story, or at least one that could be followed logically. There was nothing but the writer/directors ideas on the races, and some stupid space mission going on in the background. It was low budget with NO creativity, and NO acting. I wont even say horrible acting because that would require an attempt. The only reason any guy would watch this movie is the naked women. Every 5 to 10 minutes is a naked woman, or some outlandish nudity scene. That is what this film required to keep driving its idiotic racism message forward so you wouldn't lose attention. Most of these women looked like worn out strippers or burned out hookers. They either stopped at a some dive strip club, or some pimps corner in a really REALLY BAD neighborhood! Stretch marks, mustaches, acne, razor bumps, and bad acting! I'm pretty sure that was the whole plan. "I cant make a good movie, and nobody wants to hear my opinion, so I'll just put in a bunch of naked women to keeps guys watching". Women would turn this crap of in a heartbeat.
Now, when I sat down to watch the 2014 movie "Scienceless Fiction", from writer and director Bill Zebub, I have to admit that I expected to be in for some real rubbish. I mean, the name of the guy who wrote and directed the movie in itself was enough to make you doubt the movie.
Then there was the fact that the movie started out with showing off topless ladies. That pretty much set the bar very, very low for the movie.
Writer Bill Zebub failed miserably to put together a script and storyline that had any kind of entertainment value to it.
Needless to say that I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list in this low budget travesty of a movie. The acting performances in "Scienceless Fiction" leaves much to be desired.
The effects in the movie were insanely poor and laughable.
I cannot think of a single reason why anyone should or would spend 109 minutes on watching this rubbish that attempted to pass itself off as a movie.
My rating of writer and director Bill Zebub's 2014 movie "Scienceless Fiction" lands on a generous one out of ten stars.

- WissenswertesThe movie played at two horror conventions. Despite the clear introduction about its content, audiences cleared the room. People were either outraged by the content or afraid to remain in the room and be judged by others. According to director Bill Zebub, that showed him that brainwashed people do not know that they are brainwashed.
