I entered this movie as a fan of Rare Americans for a long time, listening since 2022, and been to 2 live shows. I listened to the album early and could piece together most of the story just from the songs alone, but the movie still managed to make such an engaging and emotional experience. The development makes for an uncertain ending that lands perfectly. The movie is much like the ending track of both the soundtrack and the album, a broken road. It will have highs and seem like it will be smooth forever, but just like that it gets bumpy fast. Highly recommend this movie to anybody. The themes of this movie are extremely well displayed and not explicitly shown to the viewer, which I think is something a lot of other writers and directors could take notes on. This movie is a master class is musicals, and is what I consider to be a new punk-rock album must-listen.

As a big fan of the band, I'm proud to say that this movie is probably one of the best releases this year. I recommend anyone reading this review to give this film a chance. The story is well-written, and the music perfectly contextualizes the film.

I was at the premiere, and every moment was a whirlwind and wild ride! The way this music can be listened solo and also fit into the movie! It hooks you in at the very beginning, and then slaps you at the end with a buttered fish! I never imagined that such a simple concept would be such a brilliant watch! What makes it even better is that the whole thing was made by just a small band! It's also easily acceptable, being on youtube! To anyone who loves punk, teen struggles, and fighting against power, I could never come close to the amount that I could recommend! I will continue to love this until the day I pass, an I've never been so happy to be a Skid!!!

I've been listening to Rare Americans for forever, so naturally got excited when I heard about their movie and let me tell you, it's a banger. Better than any movie I've seen come out the past few years and the album is ten times better. And this isn't just some overhype, this movie is genuinely amazing. It depictions of drug abuse and suicide are respectful but don't shy away from the horrors of either subject. The animation is great, and it's multimedia with 3d backgrounds and 2d character models. Truly a master piece and now it makes me was a brittle bones Nicky movie even more. Love you rare Americans!

I cant put into words how much i love this each song consistent with the plot and yet make sense a true song story. The rare americans put tons of passion into this it is amazing i love this ive been close listener to this and its amazing there is passion and many layers to the story with picture forming and reason. It had a great reason high and lows and a album that had a individual answer (s)kids a inspiration to the youth and hits home it was developed with passion in mind and is trueley one of a kind and a deeper meaning than many movies trueky honest and harsh reality no coloring to a gray a gem this is one of my faviroute movies. -sefphon.
