While in the original French film Oh la la - Wer ahnt denn sowas? (2024) the nobleman's wife learns that she is partly of Portuguese origin, in this Czech remake she is partly of Romani origin. The rest remains the same as in the original, as the ambivalent attitudes and prejudices towards Germans, Brits and Americans the story makes fun of are pretty much the same in Czechia as they are in France.
