Final Frame Spot at StokerCon

One of the 10 selections for StokerCon 2025's Final Frame competition in Stamford Connecticut, 'Nervous Nellie' has staying power.

Many of us keep remarking on David Yorke's precision with his commentary on social anxiety and find such joy in the film's swift, barreling interpretation.

If you-know-you-know how social anxiety feels and Yorke's depiction was economical while Kelsey Cooke's acting held nothing back from viewers. For a huge room full of writers? We were howling at the screening.

Yes, we have re-enacted the hands-on-the-knees bathroom scene and the final climactic moment has been an impromptu homage from our office chairs. This little film is a gift to all of us weirdos. A seething 10 from me. Keep making gold!
