Wonderful director rupan bal great.
I had the absolute joy of watching this film with family and it turned out to be a truly refreshing cinematic experience. It's a shining example of new-age Punjabi cinema-breaking away from the predictable comedy formula and instead delivering a story that feels both meaningful and entertaining.
What impressed me most was the direction. Rupan Bal has transitioned his creative spark from music videos to the big screen with finesse, crafting a film that's visually engaging while never losing sight of its emotional core. His storytelling keeps you hooked from beginning to end, balancing heartfelt drama with moments of lightness in a way that feels organic.
The story's theme, focusing on international students navigating life in the West, is not only timely but also necessary. It reflects the challenges of distance, cultural clashes, and the often-unspoken disconnect between newcomers and the already settled Indian community. The writing and screenplay carry this idea beautifully, offering a voice to struggles that many resonate with.
Overall, this film is a winner for its vision, cast, and sincerity. A 10/10 experience that marks an exciting chapter for Punjabi cinema, and undoubtedly just the start of a remarkable journey for Rupan Bal as a filmmaker.

The movie did unjustice to the story. The lack of experience in direction was evident. Comedy was subpar. There were few scenes where comedy was good but overall it was nothing compared to some average punjabi comedy movies. Actors only shine when direction is good, ranjit bawa was totally underutilized and every scene was like all actors are doing a scene for sake of doing it. In the end they announced ehna nu rehna sehna nai aunda 2, which was laughable.. like if this project was a hit. Imo this movie isnt worth the money and time.
