Minecraft: The movie

I watched this movie on YouTube and it was so good. I loved the beginning music. I had struggles with watching it first due to it being 16:10 aspect ratio but I eventually managed to get it fixed since I had watched a stretched movie in 16:9 and 4:3. I really hope Davey Bruder will continue to make these movies and I am so excited for Minecraft: The Movie 2. I hope they have a good plot. However this movie wasn't that scary in plots and it really felt like just someone's full game gameplay of minecraft. But the editing was great and I really wish you will make minecraft the movie 3 too and 4 since this is a very exciting series.

This is NOT the Minecraft movie. I don't even know where to begin with this absolute trainwreck of a so-called "movie." As someone who loves Minecraft and was excited (though skeptical) to give this a shot, I was stunned-not in a good way. First off, this isn't even a real movie. It's a 70-minute slideshow with stiff, robotic animations that look like they were thrown together in an afternoon using free software. The voice acting? Imagine a middle school group project where everyone reads off a script for the first time. That's this.

There's no story-just random scenes mashed together with awkward pauses and cringe-worthy dialogue. It feels like they Googled "Minecraft story" and stitched together the worst parts. The characters have zero personality. The "villain" (if you can call it that) was a creeper wearing a crown who spoke in riddles...badly.

This is nothing but a lazy cash grab, trying to fool kids and desperate parents. Do not waste your time or money on this. Mojang deserves better. Fans deserve better. Minecraft deserves better.
