Yes, your typical Hallmark a couple gets caught in a snowstorm plot. But the twist is a photographer is given the task to get a photo of a rare 12 sided snowflake in order for an art collector to purchase her work, which is a tidy sum that will help the community. Actor Marcus Rosner plays Noah, a friend from her childhood, who helps her on her mission. Marcus Rosner is hot, hot, hot, I'll watch any movie he's in. Rebecca Dalton is Tegan, the photographer. There is good chemistry between the two leads. People complain about the shoddy special effects regarding the snowstorm, come on folks, this is a simple Hallmark movie. Give this movie some grace its a sweet enjoyable romcom, better than most Hallmark movies..
Not good.
The previews definitely didn't thrill me, but I've been proven wrong before. However, that didn't happen with this one.
The actress is not a favorite of mine. Every movie she is in I don't enjoy her character or acting. This movie wasn't any different.
The actor, I don't mind, but they had zero chemistry, and the storyline is just ridiculous. Many aspects of this movie were irritating. The so-called villain rival photographer, the lack of snowstorm equipment, and the forgotten camera hurt my head.
This is not a rewatch for me, and it really was tough to get through the first time.

5.8 stars.
Turned out to be a pretty dismal experience. I thought this might have potential for a while, but the script is lazy and the leads have no chemistry and the story is mundane. And I haven't even touched on the production itself. It's shoddily made and even the music is a bit silly for me.
This is a very mild snow caper where two friends are searching for a rare flake. Add to this a nefarious photographer trying to get the perfect photo before the lead female. It becomes silly and awkward. There is no thrill or drama or romance, and as a result, no coherence.
I checked out around 70 minutes and the rest of the movie played in the background as I did other stuff.

Hallmark movies of where two people get trap in a snowstorm where it always to be only two good looking people who are full of stereotypes. It's predictable and you know they will fall in love because it's a Hallmark movie, they have to fall in love or it's not a hallmark movie. You can help to roll your eyes on how they don't seem to like each other to only to started to like each other toward the end of the movie. Hallmark loves to make these predictable characters and movies on Christmas because they have certain audience who can't get enough of them. All Hallmark has to do is change the actors and actresses and mess around with the plot.
The makers of this movie probably have never seen a real snowstorm. If they want to see what a real snow storm looks like they should come to Minnesota. It's hard to enjoy the movie when the special effects are so bad. How can they be in a major snowstorm and there's no snow in the road but one of the main premises of the movie was them going into a severe snowstorm. For someone that has lived through many severe snowstorms this just wasn't believable.
It would have been an enjoyable movie if not for such unbelievable special effects. Hopefully Hallmark can do better which would make the story much more enjoyable.

- WissenswertesIf only using a macro lens for extreme close ups were so easy. Depth of field gets so shallow that using mechanical support is necessary to achieve a stable focus.
- PatzerAbout 25% through the movie, Susanne comes around the wall in the art gallery, and she says to Charlotte, "It's beginning to look a BIT like Christmas!" But watch her mouth, and you'll see her say "LOT" rather than "BIT -- "It's beginning to look at LOT like Christmas!" (the song title). Perhaps this was changed during the film's editing because it might violate a song copyright.
