David's portrayal of this character is so believable. It was very emotional watching his struggles with this addiction. We lost my uncle, who was a heavy smoker, when I was young, but since then I have never been close to anyone who was addicted and didn't realize what a tough journey it is to quit. David made it seem so real. My hope is that this film will affect those with addictions no matter what they may be and change lives for the better. It was amazing to me that a silent film, which I did not expect this to be, could be so effective in getting the point of addiction across to the audience. Congratulations on this film. Can't wait to see other films done by Topp Scot Productions. I also enjoyed the music. Congratulations to the cast and crew for a job well done!

I absolutely loved the film. The depiction of the journey that an individual faces when battling addiction is so honest and pure. Even when the main character doubts himself, there is strength in an unseen force that is watching over and protecting him.The idea that there is always someone there loving and believing in you, even when you don't believe in yourself, is powerful.

Every film I have seen from Topp Scot productions has been beautifully done, and this is no different. Congratulations to the cast and crew for a job well done. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this dream team!

Addiction is tough...and this film shows just how frustrating it can be. I was completely engaged in the battle...as the actor took us on the journey with him. I loved the scenes, the music, and the actor. The plot was believable, mind-capturing, and pleasant to watch. I think the message came across clear, and gave me hope that others may be able to fight their addictions, too. With so many addictions showing up every day, this film could actually help others to not give up on themselves. They are more powerful than the addiction. I hope that anyone reading these reviews, or checking out the trailer, will offer it up to someone they know who is struggling. It is not too late.

I had the opportunity & pleasure of being able to watch this very Well done, & beautifully executed film! I feel the storyline of this film, is a type of story that many people will be able to relate to, and can be used to inspire others that have certain addictions in life. The performance done by the lead Actor David Topp was very sincere, believable, and natural in his acting, that I can sincerely see this talent go far in this business and become a leading young actor that will be able to carry his own in the feature film world! I also felt that the Director Melanie Star Scot, who seems to have a really good keen-eye cinematic-ally, is able to make yet another Beautifully shot & done film, just like another beautiful, very well- done film "The Box," that I also had the opportunity of seeing & enjoying, which was also directed by her & also starred the same lead actor in this film! Thus far, I have been thoroughly impressed by the good quality of films done by this Film-making team (Top Scott Productions), that I definitely feel that this will not be the last film the world will be able to see of this production teams well-done work! I can't wait for future films of theirs to come! Overall, this film "Quitter" is definitely a film that I feel others should check out, and is a film that can be a inspirational tool used to others who face addictions such as smoking. I was very Impressed by this very "Impressive," Wonderfully, Inspirational Done Film!

I loved it!! Especially since I am an anti-smoking Nazi (it killed my dad at a relatively young age), I really appreciate the message it sends in a not too pushy, effective and beautifully entertaining way. The beautiful scenery and original music kept me intrigued and the actor really brought true emotion into the scenes and made it seem like a very real journey for him. I have to wonder if this was autobiographical. The subtle hints of all of the negative effects smoking has, both physically and mentally, made it all the more effective. I would love to see this used as a PSA. I truly believe it could save some young peoples' lives. Well done!!
