hilarious and poignant

Absolute must-see for all the trans cuties; so many feelings on top of absurd teen comedy.

Can't wait to see it again whenever I'm able. It feels too obvious to liken it to Bottoms but there are some similar threads. She's the He has much more heart at its core which reigns in the absurdity, think early Simpson's. If you grew up in the 90s or 2000s you'll recognize some themes and tropes from high school comedies from that era. One of the people at the showing I went to mentioned Bring It On as having similar vibes. Overall just a totally wonderful movie and I'm glad I got to see it.
