The Defects

Premise sounds good, but the execution lacks, show disappoints. Looks slick but does not click. Reminded me of "Black Knight". Might work better as a movie. Actors are good and I suppose tried their best, but there is only so much that can be done. Even for an action oriented show there was lots of pointless screaming and silly gratuitous fighting.

I'm 4 episodes in, and so far I've been pulled into the story completely. There are sad moments, fun moments, suspenseful moments, and thrilling moments. It really has made me experience a lot of things in just 4 episodes, and with 4 more to go, I can't wait to see how the story turns out. Some people may not be massive fans of fast-paced dramas but I am so this was right up my alley.

Yes it defects too much filler in here and there, maybe the filming just have a little bit time to process, feel cringe, the sad act just so annoying just shout without feel, the action scene to much even doesnt make any sense, the first episode is very promising but after that its like dragging just for 7 episode x 30 minutes its to hard to finish, imo i had to blaming the director and story board to the poor execution if you try put real action thiller story you should put the background story why this bunch of kids is very strong even fight with amount of mob bodyguard, it doesnt make any sense you just like watching karate kid film from 1999 duh.
