Here, the MC is not endowed with exceptional power, strength, or magic; rather, his single and only power is the ability to "appraise" one another person's talent.

(Of course, do not worry, as it is not a spoiler since this gets revealed right at Episode 1.)

The narrative instills the action of how the MC deploys his subtle skill into a bright and strategic move, surviving in a world full of political friction and war. Instead of brute force, he proves himself worthy with intelligence, planning, and talent scouting.
