I have all praises for this incredible adaptation of the renowned novel. The leads chemistry is electrifying. This story is not your sugary rosy cliche kisses and hugs romantic story. It covers some serious topics like workplace abuse, domestic violence, toxic parenting and S. A. Its story of courage healing confidence and trust. Its slow burn romance.

Veteran award winning Director, awesome screenplay, adaptation is peak true to the novel, cinematography is classy.

OST theme is true to the intense mature understand relationship of the ML & FL. Songs sung by popular artists.

Casting is epic, picture perfect from drawing and Manga. Both the artists are true to their skills, professional and talented. They got the depth of the character. Overall I'm highly impressed.

I really enjoyed this series. Some aspects of repetition worked well but on the whole I felt there was too much repetition. Too much going back to their school days and reliving the exact same thing over and over.

The love story was very nice, their chemistry was good. But family life was not portrayed in a good light at all. No forgiveness, no real understanding of each other.

One scene annoyed me and didn't seem necessary - when on the same day he was being checked in hospital for a wound and he'd had 8 stitches in his hand - she asked him to carry her and he did so without a problem ... that seemed a bit odd.

On the good side - it was about the possibility of healing and sharing the truth with people around you for support.

In most modern day c-dramas, the FL looks like a middle schooler and acts stupid and helpless. There are very few exceptions, and First Frost is one of them.

The story explores how abandonment and abuse childhood caused Wen YiFan to be cold and defensive most of her life and didn't take a chance at love. The episodes are exciting to look forward to, now that I am caught up. ML is so charming and expressive. FL is very beautiful with big eyes and plays the part perfectly.

Good acting, script, characters, settings, make it an excellent watch. Finally c-dramas MAY be starting to catch up with k-drama.

Bai Jingting's performance in the TV drama Nanhong is simply stunning. With his exceptional looks and physique, he breathes unique life into the character Sang Yan. His appearance alone perfectly matches the character's personality, captivating the audience at first sight and earning a full mark just for his looks.

In the drama, Bai Jingting's precise understanding of the character and meticulous acting design bring out Sang Yan's aloofness and deep affection in a vivid manner. Sang Yan, portrayed by Bai, is a well-off, mature, and steady computer whiz who also runs a trendy bar. His complex and multi-dimensional personality-combining sharp-tongued arrogance with deep-seated kindness and responsibility-is perfectly captured by Bai Jingting. With his deep and magnetic voice, Bai delivers every line with such emotional depth that the audience is fully immersed in the story.

Nanhong tells the story of Sang Yan (played by Bai Jingting) and Wen Yifan, two high school classmates who reunite years later. The drama unfolds as the two start living together by coincidence, with Sang Yan's sincerity and care gradually breaking down Wen Yifan's emotional barriers. They eventually overcome their past traumas to pursue their own happiness.

Not only is the plot of Nanhong full of romance and warmth, but the visual effects also offer the audience a feast for the eyes. The beautiful cinematography and atmospheric settings create a dreamlike fairy-tale world. Bai Jingting's portrayal of Sang Yan, combining ruggedness with delicacy, adds endless charm to the drama and sets a new benchmark for modern urban romance.

Bai Jingting's Sang Yan is more than just a character; he is the epitome of modern urban romance. Every smile and glance is full of storytelling, allowing the audience to feel the power and beauty of love while enjoying the drama. The success of Nanhong lies not only in its captivating plot and stellar cast but also in its redefinition of the standards for Chinese romance dramas.

The best drama I've seen in a long time, I love the whole plot that keeps me captivated in every episode.

Even the second couple is wonderful they also have a lot of chemistry.

The sang have so much love to give and are everything that is right.

I also want to highlight the writer who takes care of all the details especially with the names of the episodes that change from the beginning to the end and I love the little references with hidden love.

I had Hidden Love as my best cdrama, but now I can only say that The First Frost has become my top one.

I don't want to give away too many spoilers, but my most sincere recommendation is that you watch it because every episode is worth it.
