I felt like my heart was about to burst with every romantic moment between Kai and Uka! The show was sweet and heartwarming. It's refreshing to see characters who not only get along well but also have role models supporting others. This is the cutest anime ever! I truly hope they release another season-I was so disappointed when it ended. I recommend it to anyone who loves sappy anime love stories, as I'm not a fan of live-action romance shows and movies. The animation style was beautifully crafted, with vibrant colors and expressive character designs that perfectly captured the emotions of each scene. The soundtrack added an extra layer of charm, enhancing the tender moments with gentle melodies that lingered in your mind long after each episode ended.

Honey Lemon Soda is one of the best anime I have seen and I just can't understand how can people even rate it below 6.

Right from ep1, the art style and characters are so good. Uka's development as the story progresses is very admirable and Miura is a very interesting character and her caretaker as well. The other characters like Kanno Serina and Ayumi are wonderful as well. Not those typical generic characters but instead they have depth and are very relatable.

Some moments got me teary-eyed as well.. was very emotional to see someone who got bullied for 3 years to rise up and take a stand for herself. Both the OP song "Magic Hour" and the ED "Wonderful World" are beautiful masterpieces by &Team.

Trust me give this anime a shot and you would not regret it. Absolutely do not trust the overall rating coz idk why the heck are people judging this anime adaptation without clearly watching it. Yes it does start a little slow but trust me its an underrated masterpiece that you will surely enjoy!

Genuinely, how do people like this???? I'm normally a big fan of a good slow burn, but this is not it. Not even getting into the characters for now, the animation is terrible. Literally half of the animation is just still frames? Just panning images of the characters. The character designs themselves are also terrible. Pretty much everyone has disturbing, gigantic eyes, and almost all of them are the exact same unsettling yellow color. The hair styles are also very inconsistent- in one of the later episodes, the main character's hair changes styles and length throught every time we pan back to her. Also, the music is bland and disinteresting- did they just make 5 generic piano songs for the whole series and call it a day? Moving onto the characters, I do not know why people seem to like them so much. All of the characters are painfully stupid and oblivous, especially the main character, and the love interest comes off more as creepy in many scenes rather than romantic. I genuinely can't fathom how people like this so much, there are far better romance animes out there- save your time and watch something actually good.

I don't get how people like this when everything about it is inconsistent including the protagonist hair length. The plot is awful and they absolutely forced the main romance. The eyes were very disturbing and Kai's eyes were more yellow than his hair. This is easily the worst anime I've watched to completion. The ending was awful and just embarrassing. The protagonist had more chemistry with Serina than with she ever did with Kai. If you're considering watching this, don't. Watching this anime is a form of psychological torture. Don't watch it. Anyone who is giving it a good review has been brainwashed.

First of all, i need to say that the german dub isn't the greatest - so watch it in Japanese if you want the best experience.

But after that, I really really enjoyed the anime. At first I was really skeptical how this turns out, but I still watched every episode. And after I binge watched all in one sitting, I can say, this romance anime is so heartwarming. Everytime there was even a little bit of affection I was giggling like a high-school girl again. The character development is great, and I'm really curious how the story is going to continue.

So if you want to watch a easy, and heartwarming romance anime, watch honey lemon soda!
